The energy intensity of Ukraine's GDP is one of the highest in the world: it is 2.5 times higher than in Poland and 3.3 times higher than in Germany.

 

Wishing to decrease the dependence, Ukraine dedicates more than 55 million dollars to projects improving energy efficiency.

 

Total yearly investments in Ukraine’s energy efficiency grows exponentially and now approximates 1 billion dollars and is expected to increase in the future.
